Development trend of CNC machine tools

Since entering the 21st century, with the continuous development of CNC lathe technology and the expansion of the application field, IT is playing a more and more important role in the development of some important industries (IT, automobile, light industry, medical treatment, etc.), because the digitalization of equipment required by these industries is the general trend of modern development. High speed, high precision


High speed and precision are the eternal goal of machine tool development. With the rapid development of science and technology, mechanical and electrical products speed up the replacement of parts processing precision and surface quality requirements are becoming higher and higher. CNC lathe using electric spindle, cancel belt, wheel and gear links, greatly reduce the rotational inertia of the main drive, improve the spindle dynamic response speed and work accuracy, completely solve the high speed of the spindle belt and wheel transmission vibration and noise problems. Electric spindle structure can make the spindle speed up to more than 10000r/min.


Linear motor has high driving speed, good acceleration and deceleration characteristics, superior response characteristics and following accuracy. Using linear motor as servo drive, eliminating the ball screw this intermediate transmission link, eliminating the transmission gap (including reverse gap), small inertia, good rigidity of the system, can be precisely positioned at high speed, thus greatly improving the servo accuracy.


Linear rolling guide pair, because of its zero-directional clearance and very small rolling friction, wear is small, heat can be ignored, has very good thermal stability, improve the positioning accuracy and repeat positioning accuracy. Through the application of linear motor and linear rolling guide, the fast moving speed of machine tool can be increased from 10 ~ 20m/mim to 60 ~ 80m/min, up to 120m/min.

CNC lathe design CAD, modular structure design


With the popularization of computer application and the development of software technology, CAD technology has been widely developed. CAD can not only replace manual to complete the tedious drawing work, more important is to carry on the design scheme selection and large parts of the whole machine static, dynamic characteristics analysis, calculation, prediction and optimization design, can carry on the dynamic simulation to the whole machine working parts. On the basis of modularization, the 3d geometric model and realistic color of the product can be seen in the design stage.
